Team Fushida Member Michal Popiel Moves Up in the World Rankings
Fushida sponsored athlete Michal Popiel improves his position as he moves up in the IJF world rankings from 50th to 15th.
Michal has just completed a European Tour with Team Canada. Tournaments were the Paris Grand Slam, OTP Bank Hungarian World Cup and the 2009
Grand Prix in Hamburg Germany. We are proud to have Michal on Team Fushida and even more excited to be by his side in his quest to compete at the 2012 Olympics.

Fushida at the 2009 Pacific International Senior Invitaional Open
Thank you to the Pacific International Open and everyone who visited the Fushida booth in Steveston. The tournament featured teams from Alberta, Saskatchewan,
Manitoba, Ontario, Washington State and Tokai University Japan for a total of 170 atheletes. Tournament director Alan Sakai indicated that tournament participation
was up from last year. Congratulations to the outstanding female and male athletes of the tournament as they each took home top of the line Icon Fushida judogis
donated by Fushida. The tournament was also followed by a National Training Camp directed by Team Saskatchewan head coach Ewan Beaton.

Fushida at the 2009 Vancouver International Open
Thank you to everyone who visited us at the 2009 Vancouver International Open and to the organizers of the tournament.
The tournament was a big success and featured full implementation of the new IJF rules.
